چکیده
Pymrio is an open source tool for Environmentally Extended Multi-Regional Input-Output (EE MRIO) analysis developed in Python. It provides a high-level abstraction layer global EE MRIO databases order to simplify common data tasks. Among others, includes parsers several openly available (EXIOBASE v1 – v3, WIOD, Eora26, OECD-ICIO) as well methods production and consumption based accounts calculation, aggregation, stressor origin estimation visualization. The use of consistent storage format including meta modification history MRIOs allows exchange with other tools, aiming increased interoperability Industrial Ecology software.

A Toolbox for Input-Output System Inversion
In this paper a Matlab-based toolbox for the input-output system inversion of linear systems is presented. Different methods, based either on analytical or numerical approaches, are implemented. The toolbox can be exploited in the design of a feedforward action for control systems in different contexts in order to improve performances in the set-point regulation. The use of a pre-actuation and ...
متن کاملValue-Added-Based Accounting of CO2 Emissions: A Multi-Regional Input-Output Approach
In the era of globalization and international trade, the production-based CO2 emissions accounting system, proposed by United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, can easily lead to a “carbon leakage” issue. Thus, the accounting of consumption-based carbon emissions and carbon emissions embodied in international trade has received considerable research attention. Nevertheless, resear...
متن کاملThe Effect of Changing Interregional Relationships on Employment Changes: A Decomposition Analysis in Two-Regional Input- Output Model
According to the regional economic literature, interregional communication can play an important role in production, followed by production-related variables such as employment. For this reason, changing (strengthening or weakening) inter-regional communication can lead to changes in production and employment in the regions. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to investigate the change of...
متن کاملThe Economy-Carbon Nexus in China: A Multi-Regional Input-Output Analysis of the Influence of Sectoral and Regional Development
China has become the world’s largest carbon dioxide (CO2) emitter. Sectoral production activities promote economic development while also adding considerably to national CO2 emissions. Due to their different sectoral structures, each region shows different levels of economic development and CO2 emissions. The Chinese government hopes to achieve the dual objectives of economic growth and CO2 emi...
متن کاملEstimation of the contribution of exports to the provincial economy: an analysis based on China’s multi-regional input–output tables
This paper developed an estimation model for the contribution of exports to a country's regional economy based on the Chenery-Moses model and conducted an empirical analysis using China's multi-regional input-output tables for 1997, 2002, and 2007. The results indicated that China's national exports make significantly different contributions to the provincial economy in various regions, with th...
